Duane Baluke, the president of Baluke Denal Studios, is a highly regarded technician with over 40 years experience. Raised in the dental laboratory business, he is intimately familiar with every aspect of its operation and management. By the time he turned 20, he had already earned his R.D.T. from the C.D.T.O. He has received dental technology diplomas from, among many others, the University of Toronto, the University of Western Ontario, North Western University, and George Brown College. Mr. Baluke is also a member of the AGD, ODA, CACD, CDA, Cal Lab, AAID, AACD, TACD, NODA, ADTO, DIAC and the DAO. He still focuses considerable attention on assisting dentists with the creation of optimal treatment plans for advanced or complex cases. This expertise proves especially beneficial to dentists breaking into implantology. |
Bill Kasco, R.D.T., brings three decades of experience to manage Baluke's Mississauga Laboratory. He started in 1979 working in his father’s lab. Learning quickly, he had earned his R.D.T. and started his own lab within six years. Now Bill is a well-seasoned and thoroughly disciplined technician who demands excellence from himself and his staff.
Bill Kasco has a level of professional integrity and personal dedication to a patient’s needs that is just right for Baluke’s Mississauga lab. His dentists can feel confident that their cases will be done beautifully, on time, and with predictable consistency. |

Technical Department Managers |
George Sarudi, R.D.T. is Baluke’s C&B / Implant Department Manager. He is vastly experienced with an incredible depth and breadth of knowledge. That’s no surprise; he’s been in the industry for nearly forty years, having spent more than half of that time here at Baluke. George believes in a design philosophy where simplicity and functionality are the highest virtues. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and working around the house. |
Nancy Esposito began work in the dental technology business in 1971. Since 2001 she has been the manager of Baluke’s Ceramics Department. The great pride she places in her work allows her department to produce some of the best cosmetic dentistry in the country. Golfing and cooking, but not necessarily at the same time, are the two hobbies she most enjoys. |
Dave Francique. Baluke’s new Denture Department Manger brings 47 years of experience to the position. Dave managed his own Laboratory in Florida until he decided to move to Canada for the better climate. His focus is on the work. The work needs to be excellent before Dave will let it out the door. When he’s not crafting excellence he participates in the masculine hobbies: poker, baseball, golf and billiards. |
Dan Zolis. Designing and casting partial denture frames is a demanding and difficult job, one Dan Zolis excels at. As Department Manger Dan is backed by 23 years of experience. During his six years at Baluke he has instilled his department with the drive to ‘Do it right the first time, every time’. Designing each partial himself he keeps the quality high. When not working at his microwave foundry Dan plays soccer and keeps a close eye on the baseball scores.
Corey Lewis. With ten years in the business and three at Baluke Corey brings solid experience to his position as CAD/CAM Department Manager. His disciplined, systematic approach ensures that his department produces consistent crown and bridge substructures of the highest caliber. When not at work Corey likes a good film or a good book. He also enjoys a pick-up game of whichever sport is currently seasonal.

Case Coordinators |
Terry Ward. For 48 years Terry has been in the dental lab business. Since 1978 he’s been one of the key personnel at Baluke Dental Studios. He draws on his broad experience as a lab technician in his current role as Case-Coordinator Department Manager. The most important aspect of the dentist / laboratory relationship is, according to Terry, communication. It is the key to creating a superior finished product. In his spare time Terry enjoys woodworking and motorcycling. |
Rob Pike. After 25 years in the business and nine at Baluke, Rob is a well-seasoned case-coordinator. He mostly handles denture cases. His work philosophy is ‘Get it right the first time’. Rob likes to get away for some sun several times each year.
Melanie Russell has been scheduling cases at Baluke for the past three years. She believes in doing everything with a smile. Melanie loves to dance, read and snowboard.

Her new found pleasure is snorkeling in the Tropics. |

Lorraine Slater. Always with a laugh and a smile, Lorraine has been the first point of contact at Baluke since 2001. She takes pleasure in listening to music, watching movies and playing in the great outdoors. |
